Nike Kyrie2

I was a huge fan of the Nike Kyrie1 signature shoe. When compared to other introductory models, I thought that the Kyrie1 held it's own ground. The design inspiration, story telling details, traction, collar height, etc. were very well done in my opinion (especially for a lower price-point shoe). I didn't buy too many released colorways, but I personally designed the hell out of the Nike iD Kyrie1 platform. The only reason I did so was because I still regret not doing the same thing for the Zoom Kobe IV-VI models when they were available.

Nike officially introduced the Kyrie1 today. As an avid Nike Basketball consumer, I believe that they had big shoes to fill (pun sort of intended). I've always been attracted to forefoot and midfoot straps, so my initial reaction was positive when I first saw a few leaked images. After seeing the official shots today, I can't wait to get a pair on my feet. Until then, I figured I'd share a bit of the Leo Chang design process. I love collecting early sketches and renderings, so why not post them here?

Rarer Than Rare...

If you're into kicks, living in Portland definitely has it's perks. There's a couple of footwear juggernauts based out of here, so some of the stuff floating around is just beyond bonkers.

Take these beauties for example. Unreleased Air Jordan IV Samples made in blue suede... and lasered? Absolutely ridiculous. I don't own these personally, but I sure do wish I did. Big shout out to @IndexPortland for letting me shoot these bad boys.

I'm also happy to announce that this space will be the new semi-permanent location starting August 24th until we move into the permanent space... Which is located on the other side of the wall behind me!
